I'm from CA so I crave good sushi. While it's not CA standard, it's good for TN. I think it's the best sushi place in Nashville. I like the Combo B - fresh sushi and your pick of a roll. Good deal and delicious. 4 stars because I think the booths/decor could use an upgrade. Sakura means cherry blossom...they should put a big (fake) cherry blossom tree at the entrance!

I get cravings for the food from Sakura! I've never had a bad experience here as the servers are pleasant and deliver your order quickly. I enjoy the hibachi "show" when we go in to eat. Usually, I place the order over the phone and pick it up as I don't live too far away. The lobby needs a little upgrade to it. They have had the same "falling off the wall" decorations they've had for a year. The tables and hibachi areas are nice though. Usually at the dinner service the place is packed. That is a good indication that the food is great. I highly recommend Sakura!
This is one of my favorite sushi places in Nashville. I've been several times and everything I've ordered has always tasted fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the sexy Laraine roll. For YEARS I've been looking for a place that makes sushi with thin slices of lemon and I finally found one. Not only does this roll have lemon, but it also has orange pieces. The combination of citrus, with the sauce and cilantro was just *chef's kiss.
We just ate on the sushi side. They have a good selection and the price is very reasonable for sushi. The fish was fresh and the presentation of the food was fun. I will be back if I am in the area.
